Ram Gopal Varma's 'Satya 2' in trouble

While 'Satya' was a hit, the sequel is facing some teething troubles.An insider revealed, "Though the film has been completed and the post production work is on, attempts to cut the film's deal for release has met with little success. Ram Gopal Varma made several star careers and launched many new faces but Satya 2 with rank newcomers is seeming like a risky proposition now. Also, the director's last venture plunged at the box office leading to apprehensions."

The source further added, "The stark reality, the rawness and the violence of the original went down well with the aam junta. But sadly the response has not been so forthcoming for its franchise."
