Ban trio for life: Sourav

Calcutta/New Delhi: The cricketing fraternity was shocked and saddened after Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila were arrested on charges of spot-fixing in IPL matches.
The International Cricket Council promised full support in the investigation. “The ICC will provide full support to the BCCI and Delhi Police in this investigation,” ICC chief executive David Richardson said.
While Sourav Ganguly demanded that the guilty be sent to jail and handed life bans, Sunil Gavaskar rubbished allegations made by Sreesanth’s parents that Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Harbhajan Singh were aiming to wreck their son’s career.
