Esha Gupta's three films old and is busy with her next- Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, but the sultry actress is still learning things the hard way.
With no godfather in the industry, Esha has her family to fall back on and also thanks the Bhatt camp for giving her a break in Jannat 2.
"It wasn't easy for me to start in Bollywood because I was an outsider. But the Bhatts believe in giving new comers a chance. I got lucky because they believed in my talent. The good things about them is that when they discover you, they believe in you fully and sell the product," says the actress.
But what's made the journey easier is her sheer self-belief and family support.
"I believe in myself and that's why I take criticism. You need to be very strong to survive in Bollywood. If someone calls me a bad actress, I won't live with it but will work towards improving myself. You need a strong family because at the end, they will love you and support you unconditionally. Luckily, I have my dad, mom and sister. Initially my father opposed the idea of joining films and did not want me to move out but now I'm closest to him and have his full support."
